Welcoming guests since 1999, Wrights Anglers Rest is an award-winning restaurant and wedding venue located on the northern banks of the River Liffey on the edge of Pheonix Park, in Dublin Ireland.
Steeped in history, Anglers Rest was previously built as a hotel in 1865, and is today known for it’s glowing open fires, cosy atmosphere and fine food. In the summer, guests can eat al fresco on our outdoor terrace, taking in the serene surroundings of the Strawberry Beds.
The picturesque location and reputation for top-class cuisine makes Anglers Rest the ideal choice for dining and as an alternative venue for weddings.

Head Chef Marcin Celgarz and his team, have curated an incredible food offering for both our restaurant and for catered events such as weddings. Our menus use the best local and seasonal produce wherever possible to ensure guests are guaranteed an unforgettable experience every time.
We serve A La Carte lunch & dinner every day from 12pm.
For private functions, weddings and other events we offer a range of options including buffet style, full table serve and more depending on your requirements.

Live Traditional Irish Music
Join us for traditional Irish music sessions at Wrights Anglers Rest Thursday to Sunday evenings. Enjoy the ceoil agus craic with excellent trad music, plenty of Guinness, great food and plenty of fine beers, ales, spirits and wines in the historic Anglers Rest.
The Anglers Rest Irish Nights are available for private booking; Up to 150 guests can enjoy live Irish music and dancing, a 4 course set menu and spectacular performances.
